This company gave their quote over the internet/phone.

After a week of having our belongings (mine & moms) they called and now increased the price almost 3 times the original amount! ($1,746 to $4,903) They challenged me in a threatening manner if i didn't like the price I could come and get my things and have someone else move them! Not thinking I would do that, Im sure.

I had them put our belongings in the "free" storage they offered with the move and proceeded to call and order another company to do the move. Express Relocation was notified by certified letter that the new movers where to pick our belongings up and they where on their way. They had spoken to the new movers and told them they would meet them at the storage.

2 days went by as our driver waited. They would not release our belongings. During that time we think they must have been going through our stuff. The original move was weighed 6,400 lbs. When we got them to finally release our belongings the new movers weighed them in at 5,300lbs thats 1,100 off!! When we received the shipment we realized our computer, cameras & equipment (professional), heirlooms, furniture, where missing or stolen!

They tell us we are crazy, lying, hang up on us, etc. we have notified the bbb, attorney general, made a police report, had a letter of demand sent by a lawyer. They now are offering only .60c per pound for the missing items which finally is admittance of guilt atleast!!!

We are out approximately $13,000-$16,000 in property. My poor mom has spent many hours in storage going through her boxes in the middle of winter, not a heated inside storage unit but right outside in the WI cold winter snow! This all took place Nov. 1 2004 and we are still in the fight. My mom has spent every penny and energy she has trying to fight back.

Please help bring these people down or atleast help give my mom peace and her things back!!!
