In regards to Expressflash.com, this was a website that "sold" a CD with different ringtones for a total of $35.00 (29.99 for the CD and $5.01 for the shipping). The caveat was that when you would buy a CD, you were entitled to a free gift. The gifts were things from new cell phones, laptops, Ipods, to $250 cash. The thing was that once someone else would add their name to the "list" (meaning they had to pay the $35 for the CD), then your name would move up on the list. Once your name reached the top then the company would send you the free gift you selected.

I was on multiple lists (one for a phone, onoe for an Ipod, and a few on the $250 cash lists). I received two of my CD's but never any more (I should have received at least five more - not that I care at all about the CD's them selves). Then after checking to see how far I've moved up on the list, I noticed the site was having "Technical Difficulties" and wouldn't let me in. That was a few months ago now and the site hasn't been up since. I would obviously like to get my money back but I would also LOVE to see the proprietors of this once popular website pay the consequences for running such a scam.
