After an in-depth google search for a 4 wheeler, I came across an add in New Jersey for a 06 Polaris Sportsman 800 4 wheeler. The guy was asking $2500 for it. He said his name was Ryan Guzman. He was currently in the United Kingdom on business. His wife was still here in the US but moving over there with him. He assured me there was nothing wrong with it, and he just needed to get rid of it. He had six or seven photos of it.
He said we would use Extra-warehouse as a third party shipping company. I would Western Union the money to them, they would hold it and ship the 4 wheeler. I would have 7 days to inspect it, and only upon a return call to them would they release the money to him. I waited a couple weeks and checked back with him as my finances were not in order yet. He said it was still for sale. He said the shipping co had changed their website. It was now Extra-delivery. The website is put together well. You can get a shipping quote, the ebay motors logo is on there, as well as a number of trade specific logos. I did a google search but couldn't find it. For a company that has been around since 1954 that seemed kind of odd. But I went ahead with it.
So i register on the site, get an invoice by email telling me what to do. I was going to go Western Union the dough to this guy tomorrow. But, I still had not spoken by phone to the shipping co. 'Ryan' assured me that he had used them before and there would be no problems. I checked the website for a phone number. Nothing. So I sent them an email with my hesitation. They said they were having phone problems but feel free to email. But there was still NO phone number on the website. That's not a phone problem. It's a scam.

I did a search on line to check some references and I found your site. It sounded like someone else just got taken last week. I'm hoping this may help someone else.

This guy has things put together well. The website, the testimonials, the invoice. Fortunately I did not send the dough. It seemed a bit too good to be true.

Again he said his name was Ryan Guzman. I was supposed to make this guy in the UK the recipient of the Western Union transaction a guy. I'm sure he's real too.

I thought I filed this correctly but apparently not. So I'm a couple days late. I hope it still helps.

Extra-delivery 06 Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI Mason City Iowa

I filed this report yesterday and did some more searching last night. I have found another file on this here on rip off report. I didn't actually get ripped off, but had some legitimate concerns about dealing with this company. I did some research and am glad I found this.
The guy goes by Ryan Guzman. He says he has an 06 Polaris Sportsman 800 with something like 36 hours and 260 miles on it. He is selling it for $2500. I found three different ads in the Midwest on it. One in a Chicago ad, one on getitsellit, and another festival website.??? All advertising this 4 wheeler in Mason City. When I contacted the seller, he said he was in the UK, and the 4 wheeler was in New Jersey.
He says he uses a third party shipping co. You send your money via Western Union to the shipping co. They ship the vehicle, you inspect it, and authorize them to distribute the dough.
The website does not list a phone number. You can contact them soley by email. When I asked to speal with someone by phone, they said they were having phone problems. When you set up the Western Union payment you are instructed to make the receiving agent a guy in the United Kingdom. Fishy.
As I mentioned, I saw three different ads for this 4 wheeler on line last night. It appears this guy is targeting the Midwest with this particular sale.
