Complaint Review: Extra space storage

 I don't know where to start. This place should be avoided like the plague. The advertised prices are not what you pay. They will try to hit you with other hidden fees, even if you ask up front if there are. That was my first experience with this place. There is never any parking, the place is left a mess by everyone with a uhaul truck, and there's always nails in the parking lot. The real kicker though is when I asked again up front if the rent would go up, I was told it would not. I even offered to pay for a year up front to lock in the rate and I was told that the only benefit was one month free. I was also told that I was renting a climate controlled environment even though it's not on the listing as that, so "I was getting a great deal." I called corporate to discuss the issue and did not hear back. 4 days later I called again and was told to pound sand. So here is is my review.
