Complaint Review: Extreme Acai Berry

A link under a picture of Ophra Winfrey led me to order a 'free' trial of Acai Berry. seeing her picture and the supporting quote gave me confidence in ordering.I gave my debit card number to cover the shipping and handling to UK.

Before ordering, I read the terms and conditions and they sounded reasonable...if during the 14 day trial I was unhappy I was to contact the company ,at a given phone number or customer support email, to cancel the next months order; failure to do so would result in a deduction of US$89:00 -59:00 sterling. It was very clear, so I thought it was reliable.

Unfortunately, the $89:00 was deducted from my account before I received the free trial. A few days later I received the trial plus the following months' supply,neither of which I then wanted.

The phone number was problematic and the email address given was invalid. I looked up Davie ,Florida -Yellow pages on line and could find neither the address nor a phone contact. It was impossible to speak to a representative or to cancel any further orders.

Fortunately in UK I was able to phone my bank and block any further transactions from this company.

I have learned an expensive lesson.
