Several weeks ago, my dad and I went to extreme auto plaza looking for a used trucyes for me to buy. We saw an ad on Craigslist and Auto Trader for a used 1996 Ford F-150 extended cab. According to the ad, the truck had 130,000 miles on it and was in good condition. So, we decided to come check the truck out. When we got there, We asked about the truck being still for sale and the woman at the counter said, "yes" then we asked about it having 130,000. And the woman said, "Oh, it has a little more than that." We said, "oh, ok." And asked if we could take it for a test drive. She said, "sure" she asked for my dad's license and he gave it to her and she gsve him the keys. When we went outside to go look at the truck, and take it for a drive, we noticed that it was parked in the back lot and looked like it had been sitting for a while. It was a little rusty on the outside. Then I unlocked the door and climbed inside. The material on the dashboard on the inside was all cracked on the passenger side. I looked at the odometer and it read 182,000... A LITTLE MORE THAN THAT?? REALLY? So not only had the person who wrote the ad lied about the actual mileage but a little more than that is an understatement. 52,000 Miles over what the listing said.

But it gets worse... we stuck the key into the ignition and the thing wouldn't turn over. We tried it several more times and still nothing. We went back inside and the we told the woman about it and she said, "hmm, it has always started before." So she got the mechanic and he magically started it and drove it around front. We got in it while it was running and my dad tried to turn on the lights and the engine just died. So we tried it a few more times and still... nothing. It clearly had an alternator problem... which again, was not listed in the ad. So we just left the truck sitting there and gave the keys back to the woman and we just left. What I noticed while I was there was that there were some cars that looked way overpriced and by the way the price of the truck was $1,995 which wasn't so bad IF THE TRUCK ACTUALLY RAN AND HAD THE ACTUAL AMOUNT OF MILES LISTED IN THE AD. I have read all the reports of this dealer on this site and have read all the Google review. There were definitely no positive reviews. One of my friends had a similar experience here. He said that he was looking at a truck that the employees of this dealer said was 2wd and he said he could clearly see the 4wd lever through the window. Never buy a car from this place. The salesmen are very dishonest and lie about many things and as I have read have been ripping people off for several years now!! I would really like to see this place get closed down!!
