Extreme Fitness won't honor the 2-month membership package from Groupon and will only honor it after signing 1-year membership Thornhill, Ontario
I have purchased a Groupon deal "Extreme fitness: Good for a 2-month membership package (a $348 value) with 2 personal trainer session included". When I presented this deal to the sale rep, they insisted that I am not a "new customer" due to I have been a guest there once. But by law the definition of customer is "a purchaser of service or good", which being a guest doesn't count as a customer. The rep could only honor the deal if I signed up with a 1-year membership, and will offer me a discount. When I am being adamant of not singing up, the rep implying I am those would jump from "club to club" and taking advantage of promotional offers. Later on, he kept on insisting he could only honor the deal only if I sign up for the 1-year membership.
There are a lot of reports on internet where people being lured by these promotional deals and ads from Extreme Fitness and without knowledge signing for a 1-year membership, where they couldn't get a refund. Do NOT believe in any Extreme Fitness ads, as they are all scams!
