I discovered a charge of $79.00 on one of my credit cards a few months ago and I called the credit card company to tell them I had never ordered this, and furthermore had never received any such product. They credited my account and advised me to send back the merchandise if and when it ever showed up. I went on vacation for a couple of months, when I returned there was an unmarked box waiting for me...no return address, no company name to show what ti was or who it was from. When I opened it, I found this bottle of Extreme Lean Rx. I tried calling the 800 number listed on the bottle, and got an automatic robot saying my money had been refunded. Again there was no address to send it back to, and apparently no way to contact these people. I put the bottle aside and thought no more about it. Well, I was in for a nasty surprise a week later when one of my credit card companies called to say my credit was being cut back by $4000.00--money I was counting on! I asked them why, as I have never been late or missed a payment on any of my accounts-I just couldn't believe it. They told me I had too many late payments on other account. I said WHAT LATE PAYMENTS??!! They said I was fine with them, but according to Experian, I had problems. I immediately got on the Experian website to see what the hell was going on, and found that I was supposedly behind 90 days on some account with Barclay Bank Delaware-no phone number available. What kind of bank has no phone?
I filed a dispute with Experian and they indicated that they had "investigated" the account and found it to be valid. Well, how did they contaact these people when I couln't? I even called
delawaare directory assistanc and they say they have no such bank listed. Meanwhile, every month since Dec..2006, another $26 or so-(late charge?}, has been added to what I supposedly owe!! What started off as a charge of $79.00 in 12/2006, went to $105-1/2007, and $136-2/2007. It says my credit limit with this bank is $500.00.
I have never heard of this bank! I have never received a payment request or statement of any kind from these people, and apparantly there is no way to contact them to stop these escalating phoney charges!! I filed another complaint with Experian on their website- same response! Since there is no phone number to talk to Experian- other than their automated line, I wrote to them yesterday and sent along a copy of your report from other people having similar problems with these creeps. Meanwhile, thanks to Experian's lame investigative report, my credit is being ruined by these people. What can be done? We need to stop them!!!
