On 3/30/09 I paid for album mastering, wanting to take advantage of their Spring Special which would allow me 3 additional months to send in my material. Boy did I walk into that one. Little did I know that the business would disappear before the 3 months passed and leave no additional contact info.

Earlier this week, I went to look into cashing in on my purchase, and noticed that the website was defunct, then my email message bounced back, and I also found out that their phone number was disconnected. There is no way for me to contact this business to get a refund, and it doesn't appear that they are contacting people who paid for their services either in order to remedy the situation.

I paid $125 and have gotten nothing out of the deal, and like most musicians, I have made sacrifices to pursue music and therefore don't have a lot of money to begin with. I feel totally duped and frustrated.

I have the business owner's name from my paypal receipt and I might just have to find him via the White Pages and hope that he will answer the phone (if that one isn't disconnected too). Other than that, I suppose the only means of recourse is filing a formal complaint.

Unfortunatly due to current economic hardships, the company Extreme Mastering has recently closed for business. All clients who did not yet receive the product they paid for, currently are receiving, or will be receiving their completed project or a full refund. Additionally, Extreme Mastering is not trying to scam or rip off anyone for any reason, but simply could not sustain itself in todays economy. The company website had to be removed from the internet so artists would not send in new mastering projects. If you are trying to receive an update on the status of your project or refund, please email ExtremeMastering@gmail.com right away. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and are trying to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.
