Defective or poorly designed Website -- ExtremeTix.com is a vendor for various venues, theme parks and the like.  Their Website looks like a high school Computer Science project or the work of a weekend hobbyist using public domain scripts to take credit card payments and deliver electronic tickets similar to those you get from airline boarding pass printers.

As a result of the poor design, it tends to lock up computers and when you try to go back and reissue the tickets so they can be printed, it tells the user the "Event has already started" -- even for open season tickets.

This kind of thing can happen.  However, the customer service and dispute resolution practices of this company is a huge black eye for any of the companies and venues that use their services to distribute tickets.   Their customer service reps are trained to emphasize "no refunds whatsoever" repeatedly without even listening to a customer's explanation of what happened.

After repeated attempts to get support from the front line CSR, I asked for a supervisor who also refused to refund for the tickets that were not delivered.   I now have to go through the credit card resolution process with my bank.

ExtremeTix.com has an extreme no-refund and no customer service policy that is strictly enforced.  Do NOT buy from this company if you can't afford to lose the money.  Apparently they need it to pay the high school kid who designs their payment system and their cheesy Website.
