I agree with the comments from Laurie. I also had a horrible experience with Exxcel and it was very costly. There was no mention of 3/4 of the costs during the intial interview; including all the extra shoots (cost me an additional 300), videos (cost me another $200), digital photos (wouldn't even tell us those costs), website fees (up to $960), "model" book ($200), training classes (that they stress you participaiting in and on average cost $200 for one or two days at most) and they always managed to come up with more "tools" we needed.

Susan Lunetta, to say the least was not pleasant at all. She never even introduced herself until the orientation meeting and even then, came across as very abrasive. The first thing she said was that if we weren't completely dedicated to becoming successful in this business, we should leave right now; nice of her to tell us after I had already invested $1500.

The very next thing that was addressed was another (this was the 3rd one presented to me) workshop for $195 for 6 hours.

She went on to sell more things such as the model book (NEVER mentioned before this meeting), the website fees (there was an indication that you were going to be on the website after you paid for the headshots, but not the case), MORE videos, digital photos, etc. I had no idea if I was coming or going, all I knew was that the money was rapidly adding up.

There was a gruesome section about food (like Laurie said, nice going) and if you did have an impressionable young or teen there, it was not in their best interest. I don't believe she has her MD and has no right to tell anyone not to consume milk (my doctor tells me EVERY time I go to make sure I am drinking milk)

Throughout the entire presentation, there was a blatant arrogance radiating from Susan Lunetta and as I walked out, I felt as if I had been a victim of a scam. Everyone had to sit with Susan or Maria and we spoke with Susan. She was very short with me as I was asking for price lists and trying to understand what the difference was between Casting Neworks, Breakdowns, and the website. Also asked her exactly what was included in the $1500 that I had already spent and she did not seem happy with me whatsoever.

I consider myself very shrewd when it comes to financial matters and although they may be putting some individuals to work, I would advise people to be very weary of their process.
