February 15th 2011 I purchased a pr of veralux, progressive  with transitions at a cost of $300.+ Two weeks later, I had to take it back because the lens fell out. They pushed it back in. Three weeks after that the lens fell out again. They kept t overnight and said it's fixed again. Then in April 2011,the handle fell off. I told Wayne, the attendant, that I wanted the glasses replaced. He said the frame is discontinued and that if I choose another frame, the will put the lens in the new frame.

The frame that I chose, was not the right fir to transfer the lens into, so he said they would have to reshape the lens but it would have meant that the lens would have ended up smaller and look like peepers on my face. I did not want peepers. Wayne said there was nothing else he could do, but fix the handle. I was not happy, but, since I could not afford another $400 to buy new ones, I told Wayne, that if I had any further problems, I would want my money back or get a new pair of glasses at no cost to me.

In May I went on vacation, and yes the handle did fall off, but the unfortunate thing is that I was in the Caribbean ,standing on a pavement, when the glasses fell into the roadway. In trying to retrieve the glasses, I almost got hit by a vehicle, but instead the driver of the vehicle swerved to avoid hitting me and instead crushed the glasses. I still have the glasses, crushed, but minus a lens and a handle.

IN speaking with Wayne @ EyeGlass Factory, he said he can charge me $84.00 which is the dr's price, because when he gave me the glasses, they were fine. I told him I am not prepared to pay anything, because, I have had nothing but malfunctions and problems within 2 weeks of getting the glasses, so obviously they were not fine when I got them. Wayne said there s nothing he can do. I cannot afford another $400 at this time, I am using an old pair from 2 years ago with a different prescription, but that is the best I can do right now. I either need to get a new pair of glasses from EyeGlass Factory Oulet, at no cost to me, or have my money refunded so that I can purchase new ones elsewhere.
