I have insurance through this company. The out of pocket cost for a complete exam is supposed to be $30. I received a statement today saying that I owed an aditional $10 for the exam. Trying to call them was futile. You are connected to a robot that only gives you certain options to select. When you say that you wnat to speak to a human, the robot "can't hear you" and tells you to check your phone and hangs up. The company also took three months of payments before even providing me with a card for services. Insurance companies have a habit of nickle and diming people like this, on the notion that the customers won't fight small amounts. They are wrong with me. They have an appeals process that is very cumbersome, and will likely generate a scripted letter only. I am seeking ideas as to how to cost the company 100 times the amoung that they are costing me.
