EZ Auto Parts Paid A Lot, Got Nothing in Return Baytown TX

This business is NO GOOD! I searched for an autoparts store for some time and EZ Auto Parts came up as a reputable one. I was sadly mistaken. First, I ordered an engine in May and it did not come until July. I was told that it was

1) because of the quality assessment that needed to be done and

2) it was allegedly shipped to Arizona. I live in Texas.

Anthony from the Verification Dept was the one I contacted most. He tried to make things right by giving my $100 back. But once the motor arrived, it was damaged. My mechanic used parts from my old engine to compensate for the damage to the engine EZ sent. That took a lot of time, and once installed, the engine sent by EZ had a leak. I called Danny Slater several times and so do my mechanic. He had me send the invoice and the repair cost to him. He said the 90 warranty was passed, but it was not. He then said I had 50 days from the time the engine arrived to install.

When I challenged him on that, he then said he would need to contact the owner and call me back. That was a week ago. Each time I call, I am sent to voicemail. Now that my and the mechanic's number is recognized, Danny never answers. Now that my and the mechanic's number is recognized, Danny never answers. I trusted this company and was extremely patient with them. But as it stands, I am out of $1630 for a faulty engine and $3000 in labor costs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND SPREAD THE WORD ON THEIR UNFAIR PRACTICES!!!
