I am a student at DeVry University. An expensive school but worth every penny. I attempted to get funding through grants. I am 40 years old and I work full time just to pay my mortgage and utilities. Things are tough all over and we are all looking for a little help.

I stumbled onto a website that promised information for "only" $1.90. Small price for good info, right? Wrong. I was charged $129.90 for an "International" charge, then the next day, $39.90. I disputed with my bank, but it was a valid charge according to the bank. How could this be? I called their so-called customer service number and said this was a scam. "Rubin" then began giving me personal information that I entered for a service. Then, the Zinger... "Did you not check 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' box?"

There is the rub. These CRIMINALS hide the charges in the fine print. Who the hell reads that. I admit I am guilty of not reading. This is predatory AND deceitful. It is also suspicious that they are using offshore banks. I guess I agreed to these charges, albeit unaware and unwillingly. College students can least afford these scams. BEWARE PEOPLE. If you have already been scammed, dispute the charge with the bank immediately. By law you have 60 days. Chances are your money is gone. Complain to you representative, congressman, the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission!

Good luck, friends
P.S. Rubin, I'd like to meet you some day. You will answer for your crimes.

AND you want to complain about it? This was YOUR fault for not reading the terms and conditions?/ Who reads those before agreeing to them? Any INTELLIGENT person does.... you were NOT ripped off.... You checked the box saying you had read and agreed to those terms, get over it and take responsibility for somethint that is completely YOUR fault.
