I went to EZ Lube for an oil change. They charged me an extra $23 to replace an air filter they claimed needed changing. They also convinced me to have the "Intake System" cleaned.

When I took my car to my normal trusted Mechanic (A specialist and very thorough Mechanic), I showed him the receipt I got from EZ Lube.

He informed me that first, the Air Filter had Definitely not been touched. He claims that in his 20 years servicing vehicles, it was impossible that my Air Filter was changed during the last oil change. Second, the "Intake Cleaning" that EZ Lube so aggressively sold to me was "Unnecessary because Honda's don't have a normal car's Intake system". I called my dealer who confirmed this.

I spoke to a Vice President at EZ Lube, as well as the "Manager" at the store and both tried to tell me my Mechanic was lying to me. They wouldn't admit their mistake and have since not repaired the problem.

The burden of proof is on me to "prove" they didn't change the filter. I would never trust my car with this company again. The customer service was ridiculous and they obviously try to rip people off.
