I have no idea where this came from, but I started receiving $14.95 charges from EZSVER on my credit card. I called the card company, who refunded 3 month's charges. I was directed to call EZSVER and cancel my "subscription".

When I spoke to EZSVER, the representitive was very pleasant and helpful and explained that this came from PROFLOWERS.COM Mother's Day promotion.

They cancelled the membership with no questions asked. I was always very pleased with PROFLOWERS and spent hundreds of dollars with them, but will never order from them again after this cheap ploy to bilk me out of a few dollars.

Margaret,

There are 47 complaints against this company called Encore Marketing that is some how tied to Pro Flowers. There are at least 12 complaints filed against Pro flowers. Do you really think consumers can't read and we just happily get sucked into this deceptive marketing scam. I have 2 Master's degrees and was charged several months because we pay our credit card through an auto pay plan. Pro Flowers is taking advantage of honest consumers. I too have spent hundreds of dollars through Pro Flowers, but NO MORE!! I am telling anyone who will listen (family, friends, fellow employees) about your marketing practices!!

Does anyone know of a lawyer who has filed a class action lawsuit against Encore or Pro Flowers? I would like to join. The issue is not about the measley $100 you billed my card, but stopping a deceptive marketing ploy!!

I urge others who also missed the fine print to call the FTC, Better Business Burea, and your state Consumer Protection Agency. In Illinois you can call 1-800-243-0607. Pro Flowers has taken a brillant marketing tool and ruined it through this spin off they call Encore Marketing.

As an employee of ProFlowers, I thought I would take the opportunity to try to clarify our Easy Saver program and the enrollment process. After a customer makes a purchase on our site, we offer them the opportunity to sign up with Easy Saver Rewards, a partner program which offers our customers a multitude of discounts and services. As an incentive to try the program, we offer customers a $15 gift code which can be used on our site.

In order to sign up for the program and receive the coupon, the customer needs to enter their email address and zip code to confirm their acceptance of the terms and conditions. Within the terms directly to the left of the "accept" button are clearly stated, both the enrollment process and the charge of the program. We always encourage our customers to provide feedback on making this process clearer as our goals are not to have customers entered in a program that they do not wish to be in. As the posted pointed out cancelling is very simple; customers can call 1-800-355-1837 if they no longer wish to be part of the service.

We are truly sorry if there was any confusion during this sign up process, though we are glad that once you alerted us, and Easy Saver to the fact that you had not intended to enroll in this program that the friendly customer service staff quickly cancelled your membership as requested. I hope you don't mind me posting here I just wanted to make sure it was clear that ProFlowers never intended to have you feel tricked or like you enrolled in something without your knowledge or consent.

Thank you,

Margaret Klimen
