F.N.T Have not refunded money Frisco Texas

I ordered magazines from a door-to-door salesperson on 10/31/06. Like another report, I checked the internet and didn't feel good about the company. I filled out their cancellation form and went to the post office. It was mailed the same day I ordered the magazines. The cancellation policy says that refunds will be 10 days after receipt of form (form must be postmarked within 3 days of purchase).

Today I went to check on the refund by calling. First person said refunds took 120-160 days. I read her the cancellation info from my copies. She went looking for a manager and came back to tell me the manager, Kevin, would call back shortly.

3 hours later I called back trying to get Kevin. Again he was not available. I said I would hold and was told that I couldn't, it was their only line. I asked first to talk to his manager and was told "he is it, there is no one else to talk to." I said then I would call back in 1/2 hour. Which I did.

After some attitude from Donna, Kevin came on the line. He was arrogant and uncooperative. He told me that 10 days was if I didn't use a check. I told him the check cleared 11/06. Then he tried to tell me, "sorry, we never received your cancellation notice." I was able to tell him that I have confirmed delivery on 11/07.

He then changed his mind and said I would hear from the refund dept within 72 hours and I should be thrilled that he talked to me and thankful that they are dealing with me. It was about the worst service conversation I have ever had.

I will update this in 72 hours with what I hear...I can't wait to see what the next excuse will be.
