We contracted with Fabio Jose Lainez who is a videographer at Meraki Media House and Fab Cam Videography to shoot 4—5 product video for us.  We had only one day to shoot the various commercials. He showed up that day of the shoot and everything went fine.  A few days later he contacted us and advised that he lost all of the footage as his computer crashed.  He wanted to schedule another shoot, but I could not go through the entire process of getting my managers approval, the store managers approval, and accountings approval for cost due to transportation, lodging, and overtime. Therefore, it was determined that we would let him know that we would not be moving forward and we just wanted a refund of the deposit.

I emailed let him know that since he did not provide the content (as well as not meet the deadline for when the final videos were to be provided to us, HE is considered to have breached the contract. We advised that this was unfortunate, but these things happen and we understood.  We advised that we would be expecting our initial deposit of $2250 be refunded back to us because I could not get anyone on staff on shoot again and I could not provide a location again. It is the responsibility of Fabio Jose Lainez at Meraki Media House &

He ignored my emailed request for reimbursement for 2 months.  After that, I began the court process.  As a part of that, I went on this companies Facebook and Google Local Business listing and posted a review of what transpired.  In the process of posting those reviews, we also learned that he has issues occuring in  County Of San Mateo via public records found online. Apparently, we are not the only people that he owes money to.  He contacted me within 10 minutes of those reviews going live and he advised that he would take care of the situation.  He advised that he would contact me once the reimbursement check was mailed out for the $2250.00.





I waited over two weeks since that call, and still no check has been received, he has not called us, he has not emailed us, he has not done anything. We are now moving forward with the LA Country Court system.  If he decides to resolve these issues, we will remove all negative info we have posted on the web. If he doesn’t not, we will proceed. Thanks.
