FACEBOOK facebook.com account blocked, security and password reset features lead in a circle to nowhere, no customer service contact whatsoever, I can't even delete my account without login and I can't login, I have not lo , Internet

facebook.com has several instructions on their security process but they all lead back to nowhere.  A couple months ago I tried to login from my phone for the first time ever and I was told my account was blocked because they do not recognize the device I was using.  When I logged in from my laptop I was asked for security question answer I never gave this information and no attempt to get around this will work.  I've reset my password and still denied access to my account for the very same security question I never set.  facebook does not have any customer contact form or number to reach them to resolve the problem.  their FAQS lead in a circle to nowhere with no response from negative feedback.  I've attempted to close this account but it seems I can't even close it without logging in that the problem isn't it.  This company is a sham.  They are phishing for more and more private information, and too many people in the world are abusing access to personal information online.  The internet makes the world smaller, sometimes too smaller, but privacy should still be respected.  Just because someone has a profile online doesn't mean anyone can sit down to dinner with them like old friends because they read their blog.

I have not had any official response to this ripoffreport but it seems to be helping.  Where I was unable to verify myself or reset my password for over a year before I reported this account here the first time, the second time my account was locked this year, I updated my report immediately, and tried to login again this time, there were more reasonable options for account security in place and I was able to login again within a week of my update here.  I have since posted a link for this report on my Facebook wall so there is no question as to whether this report is legit.  Hopefully, this will not keep happening or other companies who reply on using FB apps for comments and other social networking login will wake-up and make other alternatives available.  Sheesh!

Facebook finally responded to my complaint and used a less prying method of verification than uploading my drivers license and/or cell phone number, which I refused to reactivate my account.  It worked until I traveled out of town again then the same dumb security error "please use a device we recognize" or something stupid like that.  It's my laptop, DUMMIES!  I travel frequently and it's is the same device, you just can't track me.  The whole world seems to have come down with a BIG BROTHER COMPLEX!  Grow-up!  Mind your own business, and let me take care of mine.
