Factoryoutletstore.com Almost choked to death on brush head New York, NY Internet
I was using an Oral-B replacement brush head that I had purchased from the factory outlet store.com this morning. To my amazement, as I was brushing my teeth, the entire assembly of the brush head came off is I was using the toothbrush. The part that holds the bristles became separated from the main stock of the brushhead and slammed into the back of my throat. Luckily I was able to cough it up and out but it choked me as I was doing so. A small metal pin that holds the assembly to the brushhead also became loose. This was a fairly new brush head but it had been purchased in 2013 as I like to stockpile such items.
I immediately called Oral-B and as you can read from other reports, they had me try to scratch off the Oral-B logo from the brush head to prove that it was a counterfeit. It indeed it was as was the writing on the packaging and the bar code.
I called factory outlet store they were not at all interested in hearing what I had to say. All they would tell me is that they could not issue a refund because I purchased it too long ago.
I am planning to take my case up with the Illinois Attorney General's office to prevent this from happening to a child or senior who is unsuspecting and cannot save themselves. Do not purchase from these thieves!
