I wish I had known about this site back in Jan 2002. I have not filed my Rip-Off Report because of some legal issues that my husband & I were going through.

We were forced to file a Chapter 13 Bancruptcy. That is one way to save your home from foreclosure. Do not sign forbearance agreements or any other type of contract.

The creditor must come up with a proof of claim. (This is where you can nail them for preservation fees., forced place insurance, and any other fees you object to.)

Check your state foreclosure laws. Judicial foreclosures take longer and are more costly to the creditor.

Check your state site for business licenses. In my state they are listed as a "Collection Agency" I could have disputed preservation fees, forced placed ins., etc. if I had known.

Write your local government agencies!!! The more people that complain the more negative attention Fairbanks Capital will get.

Remember always that you are not alone. There are alot of quiet little mice that have very sharp claws & teeth.

Thankyou for this website.
