Complaint Review: Fairbanks Capital Corp

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would enjoy speaking to any media representive regarding the practices of this particular company.
After a foreclosure notice (yes, Fairbanks does misappropriate individuals payments to who-knows-where), we attempted to list and sell a property they held the lien on. The house had a secured offer Friday of last week. Subsequently, several calls were made to this lender by the real estate agent, the mortage holder, and myself, of which as of today, none have been returned.

I am unsure what part of this is illegal, but do understand this company is forcing people into situations where they should not be with credit reprecussions which they will have to live with ..when it would seem any mortage company would want to work with them, especially when there is a solution and a buyer of the property for approximately $2000 less than the loan value (other than the thousands in "fees" they tack on to their loan. There is no excuse for a company of this size in their "growth" phase to undermine and not acknowledge those trying to work through this type of situation. If they spent the time returning calls that they spent listening to messages from "wayward borrowers", it would seem they would have more time to truly resolve these issues.

There is also something interesting to me about a mortage company who has a part of their web site dedicated to those who are in arrears with their loan which are attached to phone numbers where no one will return the calls. I read many of these reports which seemed to be from the most part from Florida, Utah, etc...now they have reached the Midwest evidently.
