Do whatever you can do to get away from these guys. My loan was transferred from Countrywide on Oct. 16, 2002 and from the very first day I have had nothing but trouble. After 45 days of dealing with incompetent $5 an hour TPT (trailer park trash) individuals, I decided to refinance my loan.

My advice to everyone on this board is to send in your payment on the 1st of every month or use ACH. Mail gets lost and Western Union is not that much better. You can even use the Internet to make the payment. Computers do not screw up (sometimes)... Just the people the run them Remember electronic payments are the way to go There will be records on both ends

Laws are very clear in ALL states. They have to tell you what the charges are and where all your money goes... If they dont tell you, talk to a manager If he/she does not tell you, tell them you will sue them for fraud and you will report them to your states Attorney General or your states DRE (Department of Real Estate). There are state and federal laws they have to follow. If they do not follow them, they can be sued. If you have been screwed with, talk to a good real estate attorney There is also public assistance out there to help They cannot take your house without due process

BTW: Do not talk to the collection guys. Go directly to Customer Service and ask for a manager. When ever you talk to someone, ask for their name (ask them to spell it) and extension.
