Complaint Review: Fairbanks Capital Corp

This started back in 2002 when they theratened foreclosure. I could never get them to put in writting my balance to I could catch up in full, instead it was verbel and never caught me up.

They also attached the cost of a Life Insurance we did not okay and a ome owner insurance that we did not need. Both of the insurance company's gave me a cancelation number for November 2002 but Fairbanks kept taking this money out of my payment and then charged me late fees.

My payment for 1-01-04 should be 814.31 but they say I owe 1234.02 payment due and 407.20 for late charges.
I hired a lawyer but he didn't have time to work my case.
My husban and I are both unemployed and have no where to go to keep from losing our home.
