Complaint Review: Fairbanks Capital Corp

They took over our loan, sent secure info to a stranger across the US and claimed it our fault!! They should be punished ......

This mortgage company took over our loan 4 months ago. They said that their company welcome packet was sent to our address, but it went to someone else in another state. They claimed that we told them that it was our address.

We never heard from them until we called and asked for statements. They said that all the account info was sent to our address, the wrong one that we never lived in. We faxed address changes, made numerous phone calls and they still didn't take our payment through the auto-deduction.
We were told that our problem was not theirs to be fixed and a waste of time. We had late fees racked up and spent extra money fed-ex'ing our payment to avoid extra charges.

Why is a lame company like this being entrusted with important accounts? They are very rude to us on the phone, makes promises, but doesn't keep them. It's a struggle to talk to a decent person and all the previous call records are ignored. We would do anything to have our mortgage handed over to another place.

Our credit report has probably gone down, due to the fact of this company sending important documents to a stranger across the US. We never gave out any info that wasn't right, they are the liars and we are paying for their dumb mistakes. Get rid of them!!!
