I was one of the unfortunate ones that had my mortgages sold to these d****e bags. My first company Equicredit was great, each month had a statement, automatic payment structure never failed, everything was perfect. Then I get a letter saying something about the BS Loan servicing center blah blah blah.

So these F nuts cant figure out how to ach money from someones account, NOT MY FAULT THEY ARE FREAKIN STUPID.
So I go to my bank set up the direct withdrawl for them, doing their work for them, thinking everything is fine and dandy, payments are being made.

I am trying to refinance my loan and the god forsaken d****e bag bastards are trying to ram it up my rump with these d****e bag fees on here that I cant even tell you what the F they are.

Unpaid late charges 84.33 (funny last time I knew it, computers DONT CARE WHAT TIME IT IS they do what they are programmed to do so money cant be late) Unpaid NSF (non sufficient funds) That is a joke for 15.00 dollars. then there is this wonderful line of UNPAID OTHER FEES of 63.16 so I called their d****e bag support, those freakin butt heads cant tell me what that is. Well okay captain butt nut, Would you pay something if some d**k bag told you to but would not tell you what it is for? NO Well either will I. Then I see Funds Advanced on Borrowers behalf What the F is that all about? for 22.90 so I ask the dip wad that one, he said to me probably a home inspection I said for what? To see if the residence is being lived in?

What a quarter of a million dollars to let a house rot into the ground you freakin dope? Are you mental?
Recording fee of 22.50, while this is bull$hit I'll let that one go, Pay off statement fee of 50 bucks
That is horse $hit if I ever heard it but alright, bend me over, Ill grab my ankles and you can anal slam me cause I guess since I'm the customer. Im freakin wrong 900% of the time and your dumb a*s is always right for your $5 dollar an hour talk to customers on the phone and piss them off more than they were when they called to begin with right?

Then I see this Fax fee on here for 10 bucks, they warned me that the fee of 10 bucks to fax this report would be included so I opted to wait the 5 days to get it. But yes since Im always wrong and I have the freakin thing in an envelope, that means it was faxed right? God All fax machines put faxes into envelopes and stamp them from the US postal service, How freakin dumb of me to think that a mail man actually delivered this into that big white thing out front of my Uninhabited house would recieve faxes as well as US mail!!!

Then these F*cks have the audacity to put on here interest on advances, these F*cksticks are charging me interest on money that they say they lent me.
Look you puss bucket pile of $hit, You did not LEND me money, I dont need Money lent to me, and I would refuse it if it even was offered, but the best is when you call their customer service they can NOT talk to you about this. They refuse to explain anything and push you off to some Fax machine Bulls*it number for you to write some BS letter to some dip$hit a-hole research department for them to look over your account.

Look captain F*cknut, You WILL talk to me about this stuff, I will call and harrass the living crap out of you until your blue in the d**n face, already contacted a freakin lawyer on this.

I swear Ill spend all my free time harassing these dopes until I get a d**n phone number to someone that can and will help me on this.

I have just helped someone form Holland PA get away from this company and can help you too. Fairbanks charged her over $3k in BS fees to get away from them but she now has peace of mind. I'm now working with someone else whose credit has been ruined by Fairbanks, and have found a lender who will listen to a fair explanation of how Fairbanks has ruined their credit report. when I got home from work yesterday, I had a notice in my mail that my mortgage had been sold to fairbanks capital corp. I came to work today and logged on the net to find out some info on them. you people have scared the crap out of me!!! I am very glad that i have been made aware of the type of business practices my new mortgage company employs. i am mailing my first payment today and will send it return signature required and i will track everything from the first payment forward. I appreciate the heads-up on what I could be getting myself into.

Glad to see someone else had Fairbank's attorneys thrown out of court, so did we. I'll bet many others too that aren't even aware of this report site or are just too exhausted to deal with them any longer. Even after Fairbanks lost their attempt at us they are continuing to dig themselves a bigger hole and they don't even know it. We will bury them eventually due to their own poor and incorrect records.

Everyone, continue to contact HUD, the FTC, etc, and don't let up. Fairbanks will see the POWER OF NUMBERS (the victims speaking up) and how bad it will get and who will prevail. It may take time, but it will be done!!!!! BE CONFIDENT AND DON'T STOP FIGHTING THEM!!!!!!!

We'll see to that.Right now there are more and more people looking into Fairbanks.Which is long over due! Janet if Fairbanks is such a great company, then why is HUD doing a criminal investigation into Fairbanks, and why is PMI starting sweat bullets?

I'll tell you why! It's because of people like Senator Barbara Mikulski & Senator Paul Sarbanes Both from the fine state of Maryland.They see how Fairbanks has been taking advantage of consumers,and forcing them out of their homes.Can any one tell me what the difference is between Orgainized crime & Fairbanks? there isn't any.Fairbanks found a way to scam money from consumers. You figure what? lets say 20,000 mortgage loans if not more. And you scam a few bucks off of them from BS fees that they trump up. And they foreclose on a few homes,get kick backs from the Attorney's that handle them.(this I know for a fact. because I had to pay over $1000.00 Attorney fees to one of their Attorney's last fall just to save my home, because those idots lost or misapplied two of my payments right after they took over my loan.But lets go on)

Now don't forget the kick backs from the realtors that resell your home on behalf of Fairbanks. Not to mention the forced place insurance scam.

Add this all up and what do you have. A new condo for Mr.Garland (CEO of Fairbanks)
So lets look at this one more time. This GREAT company has

(1)Senator's Barbara Mikulski & Paul Sarbanes hot on Fairbanks heels.

(2)Fairbanks is on credit watch with the Senate Banking Committee.

(3)HUD's Inspector General doing a criminal investigation.

(4) My favorite - Jayne Miller & her News Team from WBAL-TV. They won't stop until this corrupt company is put on NOTICE by the Government.(Thanks from all of us!! Jayne)

(5) Those wonderful people from conti-fairbanks.com (web-Page)My heart goes out to your staff.These people have uncovered more dirt on Fairbanks then any other organization.
And last but not least the staff of The Rip-Off Report. They have over 500+ complants on Fairbanks and still growing. What do you think Janet, are 500+ consumers wrong? One last comment - Janet, you and Mr.Garland (CEO of UNFAIRBANKS) Might want to start thinking about a career change.

Mortgage Servicing MAY have named Fairbanks 1# servicer, but it's apperent MS doesnt really look into the companies they "rate". If you actually read Mortgage Servicing then you would see their willingness to take that rating back "in light of current investigations into Fairbanks". Oops.

As the true GED drop out that you are it absolutely KILLS me that you stated: "our portfolio is over $50 billion and only 3 percent are behind...does that make any sense to u...less than 3 percent of the people we service dont like us and u say it is our fault."

Now allow me to break this down slowly so that even a GED drop-out from FloriDUH like you can understand...
3% of $50 billion does NOT equal 3% of people behind. It ALSO doesnt not reflect the number of people who "don't like you". mmmkay.
What it DOES equal up to is that 1) Fairbanks employees are mathematically illiterate, and dismisses any validity to ANY numbers or figures they come up with and 2)is the reasoning for the current and SPREADING investigations.
Looks like you're going to be out of a job soon, honey. I hear McDonalds is hiring in your area.

Jason, I laughed 'til I cried. My sentiments exactly! Can't believe some of the stuff these people will say or do. And to Janet you're darn right you don't have a respectable job!

Pretty soon you won't even have a job if hundreds of people have it their way. I have never been late on my payments and I have proof. So don't assume only the "bad" people get hurt. What a bunch of crap.

It seems most of the people who work for your company have your attitude, it appears you've been brainwashed my dear. Jason keep fighting, don't give up,let everyone know about what this company is doing to all of us. Soon there will be justice!!

I hope the women from Fairbanks read this. People make mistakes and so does companies. But this many mistakes? I admit my insurance lapsed for 1 month in 2000 but I have had it every since. When FB took over they should have had the info of course they claim they didn't We have been sending info for almost a year now.

They failed to send me a letter letting me know that they were going to jump my mortgage up. which I refuse to pay because I have not recieved aletter from them letting me know that my payments are going up so I want send them the right amount until I get a letter.

Of course that makes me one month behind. There is something wrong with this picture there are problems with your company if not the Federal government would not be looking into this group of thives!!!!!

Try to READ Jason's post. Sounds to me like he had an automatic withdrawal set up with Fairbanks. Fairbanks FAILED to debit the money when due causing past due fees. Imagine that!!

Why is it that every unfortunate that does business with Fairbanks winds up in arrears? (Fees, fees, fees.) You are so obvious that even the most unsophisticated consumer can see there is something so wrong with Fiarbanks' method of doing business. These "mistakes" made by Fairbnaks are not mistakes at all; Fairbanks creates accounts in arrears. We all can see that. If that were not true, it would not take an act of God to get these mistakes corrected! In fact, I am not sure that any mistakes are ever corrected.

Mortgage Servicer was probably rating Fairbanks on its collection (asset recovery) record rather than its customer satisfaction. I will give you that; Fairbanks IS #1 in extortion, terroristic collection tactics, and picking account holder's pockets!! You say yourself "I may not have a respectable job"; let me clarify: You work for a group of domestic terrorists who are hellbent on throwing every account holder into the street by whatever trumped-up method it can find. Your company is greedy, self-serving, and totally bent on undermining the American dream. There is an Iraqi dictator looking for help just like yours these days; go to it!

I MAKE ALL MY PAYMENTS ON TIME!
They are Automatically Withdrawn from my savings account each month!

I am NEVER late with ANY of my bills.
EVER I have great credit and This is the type of horse pucky that gums up your credit for years because some dumb a$$ making 2 bucks an hour that can't read past a 3rd grade level, decides to put you into a category that you dont belong.
There is enough money in my savings account at any one given time to pay my monthly mortgage payments for next 6 months or so, So the thoughts of Non Sufficient Funds is absurd and should be looked into.

Why dont you stand up for your company and Give me the phone number of someone that actually graduated Highschool that can tell me what these charges are, why they are there, and discuss them and have someone prove them to me that I am at fault.

(or my banks Computer or your computer that puts in for the ACH to withdrawl and transfer the funds as accounts payable/recieveable)
Lets track down the problem and work it out.
I give you credit for coming on here and trying to defend your company, I really do but with over 500 complaints dont you think your yourself might be trying to fight a uphill battle in this arena?

I also believe that your company got voted the #1 Sub prime servicer is for one reason only
Your company bought thousands and thousands of established mortgages not serviced them from scratch.

Let me ask you this as well.
Since my interest rate is now very high by today's standards, if your company is so freakin wonderful, why dont they want to KEEP my business and lower my rate to what today's is and keep me as a customer, for I pay my bill every month.

(dont see how I cant pay it since it Is PAID BY A COMPUTER Like clockwork)
No they would not talk about lowering my rate and starting a refi process.
So you know what You can stick your company signs up your rump for your company is NOT concerned about the customer what so ever. If they were, they would actually TALK To you on the phone and discuss problems that arise not give you some Horse $hit fax machine number that is busy 24 hrs a day for you to "write a letter" to some department that you never heard of before and cant even call and find out if they recieved your fax or not.

Probably some gomer pile waterboy in some dark dungeon somewhere in some god forsaken hole of an office building that you feed gruel and water to twice a day.
no lights, no phone just some crappy fax machine pumping out THOUSANDS of complaints on a daily basis.

Fairbanks has taken us to court to foreclose and your attorney was laughed out of court. Fairbanks claimed that we were late and have not made a payment in over a year....go figure....yet I had all of the money orders and I paid the fees to have them traced and copies sent to me.

You know what was very interesting when I did that, Fairbanks stamped them received before the 15th of the month, yet they were not applied to our account until after the 15th.

So, you may have to work, like most of us do, however, I would find another more respectable co. to work for. I did a search and could not find a thing about Fairbanks being #1, however I did find this "NATIONAL MORTGAGE NEWS Daily Briefing for FTC Also Eyeing Fairbanks Fairbanks Capital Corp. has revealed that the Federal Trade Commission is conducting a review of its policies and practices in response to allegations that it is mishandling accounts and overcharging homeowners."

So, go and chew on that for awhile. FAIRBANK VICTIMS, IT LOOK LIKE WE ARE GETTING SOME HELP, Janet, if I was you, I would be looking for another company to work for like maybe OCWEN, since your attitude matches both companies business philosphy.

Equicredit wasnt a great company that is why they no longer exist....you said Fairbanks sucks...Mortgage Servicing named us the #1 subprime servicer. That accounts for something, since they are accredited and specializing in mortgage servicing. but hey ur a peon who is right because you say so. PA Residents should contact the office of Sen. Michael O'Pake. His office has been very helpful to us in getting our complaint files with various regulatory agencies. When you call mention that several other Senators in MD, CA and Mass. have demanded a HUD investigation into Fairbanks practices. Insist that PA follows suit!!
