Complaint Review: Fairbanks Capital Corp

I tried to obtain a mortgage on my mother's house in september of 2000, with the understanding that there would be a title search and transfer of the property to me.

however the deed is still in my mother's name and all leagal information such as taxes are as well. well the loan was approved for 40,000 the house was appraised at 52,500 eventhough it's only worth about 39,000.

the mortgage since september 2000 has changed hands several times and now i end up with fairbanks. i have tried to call them several times and left messages but to no avail. suddenly the send me a demand letter.

they are under the impression that i somehow don't have rights.

they make this offer of wanting to help but you never seem to get anyone. but i think they barked up the wrong tree this time.

i informed the previous lender of the problem with the deed and in turn they sold the mortgage to fairbanks. now they have a problem as well.

my mother died without a will. there are heirs to the property and the loan should not have been made untill a complete title search was done.

but those idiots at fairbanks don't want to talk to me.
