Complaint Review: Fairbanks Capital Corp.

My second mortgage was sold to these theives. The experience has been a nightmare. It began with a terse notification that my loan was now with Fairbanks Capital. I received one statement, then they stopped sending them. Requests were met with "we are not required by law to send you a statement", which is correct but a very dubious practice intended to throw you into a delinquent status, thereby losing your interest in your colateralized property.

The sad part of this is that these thugs will continue to prey on consumers with impunity. They have discovered how to make the laws work for them. The unbelievable number of complaints at this site only highlights how successful this scam is.

My suggestion would be to send payments (certified check) early and by certified mail. This is your only protection. I am currently refinancing my home just to get this scum out of my life.
