I also have a loan that was bought by Fairbanks Capital in December 2002. They have also begun harassing me as well. I have found out that the new Chairman of the Board at Fairbanks is Bradley M. Shuster, he is also the President of PMI. PMI is also a part owner of Fairbanks. Well here is Mr. Shuster's direct office number 925-658-6134. Also his home phone number is 510-653-1476. I have already given him a call at his home number and know that it is good. Good luck to everyone.

I would strongly suggest NOT calling the home number, even if it is correct.

Constant calling of the number could be treated as harassment and punishable under state law. Also I suspect that this number will be changed now that it has been posted publicly. However tempting it might be to return the harassment you have received at the hands of Fairbanks automated dialer stooping to that level is for Fairbanks Capital employees and management not respectable citizens such as ourselves. Calling the office number (which also could be changed) or better yet, PMI's main number I would consider fair game. There is no reason one can't call the office of the CEO of an organization to lodge a complaint. Remember to be polite no mater how hard that might be.

With this all said, while minor retribution might be personally satisfying, I doubt either number will be of much assistance to you in solving a dispute with Fairbanks. Your best action would be to email them at ombodmans@fairbankscapital.com or phone the customer noservice line set up for disputes at 1-800-905-4797. If neither of these get anything corrected in very short order the next step is to seek an attorney or join one of the current class action suite. A web search of Fairbanks Capital Corp on Google or just about any search engine should turn up the names of several law offices currently either in or planning litigation with Fairbanks.

Keep up the fight and stand up for your rights but remember to play by the rules. Copy everything said on the phone with Fairbanks and send a written confirmation of the discussion to the party you spoke with. Document everything!!! We CAN win this war but to protect yourself you need proof of what has and may still be happening at Fairbanks. Your documents will be your proof.
