For the past two years I have been dealing with Fairbanks Capitol Corp. I did not choose them, they purchased my account from CTI. Up until they purchased my account it was current and paid on time. I have an account through Primeamerica that makes my payments for me so I am not late. All the checks are mailed out in plenty of time to be credited by the due date of 22 of the month.

Fairbanks Capitol issued forced place insurance on my account even though I have insurance through my first mortgage holder. They proceeded to use my payments to pay the insurance. I had no idea this was happening until one day they sent someone to my house to photograph it. Since then I have tried everything I know to straighten this out. Their "customer service" people are rude, abusive and as unhelpful as they can be.

I am currently according to them running one month behind even though I have the canceled checks that prove not only have they been paid, but they have been paid on time every month since it was my misfortune to have them enter my life. They call me twice a day, every day and people come and leave messages for me to call the loan servicing center. I have taken to not answering my phone because of them.

They have threatened me with foreclosure now three times. When I called and asked how they could foreclose for a disputed one month payment, the person I talked to said "what are you talking about you are not in foreclosure". If there is anything that can be done to put these people out of business and I am able to help, sign me up.
