In 2005, I was getting work done on my tenant's apartment to be in compliance with Section 8 (assisted living).

During this time, I was not receiving monthly payments from housing authority, while spending alot on repairs.

I was always one month behind and would send two months payment at once.

In November of 2005, they sent my two month payment back and told me I was in foreclosure and had 20,000 or so in fees.

I only found this out when the check came back. No notice to let me know the action was pending.

After that they had me in a forebearance. At that time the government seized my tax check which put me a month behind again.

New forbearance. My original mortgage was $2,655 now my mortgage payment is $3,700.

They continually harass me now on phone telling me my payment from last month was not received, when in actuallity it just doesn't ever get posted to my account. Same thing every month.

They have put me over a barrel and are keeping me there.
