Complaint Review: Fairbanks Capital Corp.

Fairbanks Capital Corp. ripoff. changed payment amounts and dues. changed address to send payment to. add insurance when we aready had some. added 15 years to our loan. ripoff liars victimized us Salt Lake City Utah .....

I bought my house in June 1997. JBS was the first mortgage company, they sold it to Nations Credit who said my payments were late and that I missed payments. I sent them copies of my payments and instead of straightening out my account they sold the mortgage to Fairbanks credit. After which the due date was changed and the payment amount was raised and I was not notified. The loan was also changed to a 30 year loan and it was only supposed to be an 15 year loan.

They charged me for hazard insurance when I showed them proof of my own insurance. Now they are saying I'm in arrears $20,000 even after I sent them proof my payments are up to date and I've even made several double payments to stop the harrassing phone calls. One Company agent went as far to say I'd be sleeping under the stars during the winter. This has caused emotional and mental stress for myself and my family with 3 children. I work 2 jobs to try to cover all of the extra payments they have demanded. They have ruined my credit and nearly my life.
