This has got to be the absolute worst company!!!!We never pay late but our payments are held by them until they show them paid with a late fee. They also just bought insurance for us.We sent them proof of our insurance when they got the loan.It is paid through Oct.2003 so it was far from expiring!!!!We have never signed anything agreeing to pay our payments to them anyway.

I really wonder if they have rights to our loans!!!I would love to join in on a class action lawsuit against them and would hope that every victim who will help us fight these scums will win in court to the point they have to give us all a paid in full release on our property!!!We own a real estate company which we have had since 1991 and we know a pretty good bit about real estate and we just know what these folks are doing is as illegal as you can get!!(We also just opened a mortgage company to go with our real estate company)We would be willing to travel to where ever to join in a march against them or whatever else can be done against them!!!!Let`s all join in!!!!

Dianne, carefully check your original loan papers.

You said that you never signed anything agreeing to do business with Fairbanks, but I can guarantee you that the original loan papers that you signed with the company who sold your loan to Fairbanks has a clause that states that they can sell your loan to another company at any time. If you signed those loan papers, then you agreed to allow your loan to be sold to whomever the lender felt like selling it to.

More then 75% of mortgage loans are sold to another company within the first 3 years.

Personally, I think this deplorable practice should be banned!
