i edwarda from ohio want to tell pam that what ever you do well not help stop fairbanks from forecloseing you because we were there last year we paid 7ooo.oo dollars just to keep our house .we did keep it for just a while until dec. of 2002 when we got a letter saying that we were going to be foreclose anyhow for an escrow that we weren,t aweare of,of 2000.00 dollars still oued on, we didn,t know what was going on until i got on the net and found out that fairbanks had a civil law suite on them from the federal trade commision and that there is an ivestigation on them by a senator barbara melcinski i think thats how you spell her name,but anyhow i tabed into james hoyer from tampa fl.and signed up for the class action settlement this is the only way you well get anything if you lost your house due tothem bankruptcy and if your story is different then mine,but then everybodys story is different in there situation,some even make a deal with fairbanks with a promiseory note signed buy you and they break it,they well make you pay more money so you can keep your house but you don,t so you just better keep your money and use it for another house for a doun payment. what i,m saying is they are just milking you for more money so, i talked it over with my lawyer in what to do and he said i didn,t have enough eqity so just give it back,i also wasn,t happy at where i was at because of the traffic and besides i can,t win.it,s a vendeda to fargone to fix the problem and well cost so much money and i won,t give them more money we already did and it came out of my husbands hard eard sweat his 401k.i won,t do it the house is not worth that much ,it,s appriesd at 79,ooo and we oue 73,000 so they can have it . i can get another house and use the money for another house so, pam this is what i did since i,m in ohio you still have to let the federal trade commistion know that you are a victum of a scaum from fairbanks capital and here is the number 1-877-862-0886 this is the ftc settlement
hot line or go to www.ftc.gov. these are for consumers that well be notified by mail about there stake,if you have moved or have qestions call them and be in the class action and get your loan no.ready when you call.i know it,s not going to be easy to get another house since we went bankrupt but i here different from other people that it is easy because we don,t oue any bills and that,s what counts and thats what they look at good luck pam and think about giving them any more money because you well be a dried up well.

Have you contacted the attorney general in Utah where Fairbanks main office is? We did once we ref. to another company told them what Fairbanks did to us and of course they had a big excuse about not entering things in time or to wrong accounts bottom line was they were wrong and once the attorney general got involved they gave us or 3000.00 back for the so called corp advances they made us. Also I find out they at time were not even lic. in the state of Il to business you may want to see if they still arent.

They are still trying to take my home for four years now I have been in court almost every month they just wont quit.I have been going without an attorney since August of 2002,So still holding my own I was suppose to go again tommorow but had to go to Ala for funeral So guess I will get another court date .

Pam your not alone in IL we are getting ready to ref. with another company check goes out tomorrow to Fairbanks to pay them off, I was shocked when we got our payoff it was 3000.00 more than our principal they say it is advances made to us no one can tell us what they are or when they were applied tired of fighting with them

I HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT AND KNOW ONE AT FAIRBANKS SEEMS TO KNOW, how she ended on the notice. i called her san antonio lawyer listed but the secretary wouldn't let me speak to him. SHE SAYS THEY WERE SENT OUR FILE BY MISTAKE.

I TOLD HER ABOUT THE PREDATORS WE KNOW AS FAIRBANKS, she said she had never heard about them and what the are doing to victimize us all, I told her we want to help Ms.Payne not lose her house . IF ANYONE KNOWS HER TELL HER TO GET IN TOUCH WITH US THROUGH THIS WEB SITE.
