Fairbanks Capital ruined my credit, my health, my peace of mind, & my faith Salt Lake City Utah
From the first correspondence I received from Fairbanks Capital after they purchased my loan I have been harrased by them. They don't credit payments when recieved and then claim it was late and if you don't pay late fee next months payment is short and therefore late. Another fee.
I still have a $1300.00 cashiers check that I sent 2nd day certified mail, that their bank has verified paid and is in their account, that they won't credit me for almost 1 year.
They have another $725.00 sitting in a "suspense" account for 6 months that they wont credit and wont return.
I am currently in bankruptcy because of them. I tried to refi the loan but they made it impossible by blackballing my credit and refusing to send payoff information.
They recently settled, out of court, with the federal goverment for $40,000,000. This amount will not begin to cover the damage they have done to thousands of consumers.
They should be forced to sit down face to face with the people they have damaged and resolve each case.
They are scum sucking, low life, predetory lenders.
