Fairbanks Capital, Select Portfolio Servicing ripoff - Forced Bankruptcy To Save Our Home Salt Lake City Utah
In order to get a better handle on our finances we started spliting our mortgage payment in half and paying it bi-weekley. Our payments had been accepted by the company for over 3 years. As of last year (Sept) we made our first monthly payment as usual via western union and the payment was accepted by the company. When we made the second payment at the end of Sept we assumed the payment was accepted and we continued making our payment throughout Oct-Dec. In January I got a letter from a lawyer stating that I was being sued for foreclousure on my property. When I called the mortgage company they told me that as of the end of Sept payments were no longer accepted in split payments and my money was sitting back at western union. When I asked why hadn't they notified me they said it was western union's responsibility to notify me that my payments were sent back. Needless to say they wanted me to get on a forberance agreement and pay $6500 but keep in mind my forberance agree maynot be approved. Since I didn't have $6500.00 I contacted a lawyer and found out that I could pay the $6500 and they could still take my house. Long story short I filed bankruptcy in order to save my house. Can someone provide me with a lender that will refinance my mortgage so I can get away from these sharks. Please I can't take them anymore.

As of June 2006 I'm no longer under the Select Portfolio umbrella. I have refinanced with Southern Start Mortgage and they can help you too. Contact Mr. Madrus or Ms. Kenny at (((ROR REDACTED PHONE NUMBER FOR SECURITY PURPOSES)))
