Since 2002 all my payments have been credited to the Interest column and nothing to the principle. I called and got nowhere with the customer service, they said that they would have to put a call into the investigation department.

Also 2002 I had one last payment charge of $53.76 and paid it twice. Again I called and was told it was applied to the interest and that I had to send copies of the cancelled checks showing where I wanted it applied. I send both checks for the $53.76, separate from the monthly payment and still no correction.

The interest total paid YTD for 2003 they list is $2,150.60 which is incorrect. Jan to July 2003 is 7 months x $358.32 = $2,508.20. That leaves $357.60 not accounted for. I called on this and they again said it had to be investigated.

As the other people trying to refinance and have found out that they have bad credit reported by Fairbanks, I also have been reported late many many times. I showed all the cancelled checks showing when they cleared my account, which have been 7 to 10 days before the due date.

Good luck to you all and I hope we get restatution for all the monies due back to us and to have our credit restored back to the proper levels.

This is the internet address so you can access you loan directly and see how and when your payments are applied. You will need your account number. http://www.fairbankscapital.com/

In January 2003 these A** Holes were appling all of my payments to interest not to the principal & interest. Thank god I got a refi, I also found out from the payoff papers that the original mortgage company still was the actual owner of the loan and not Fairbanks.

I suggest that you find your original mortgage papers to get the actual terms of the loan, etc. Good Luck to US ALL.
