Complaint Review: Fairbanks Capitol

My mortgage was bought by Fairbanks Capitol about a year ago. We thought they needed sometime to get the paperwork straight with us over the phone. This never seemed to be getting accomplished, since than we went to our personal bank and had them fax canceled checked to show that we had made payments that they said we were delinquent on.

Well they did this not once but twice faxing this information to Fairbanks. In never was good enough or the right thing. My bank didn't seem to have the knowledge to deal with this. I said I was going to get a lawyer to help me with this.

She had gone to a lawyers convention were they had memtioned this Fairbanks and that they were doing this to several people around the country. She had first advised to refinace this loan, but as this process was going on I got turned down from my bank for the loan because in the mean time Fairbanks put something on my credit report.

I called this man who the lawyer had talked to at the convention who simpithized with me greatly. I am waiting to hear back from him but in the meantime I found this websight. I've been going throught phones calls at home and my husband has at work. They have the payoff amount so jacked up with uncalled fees and want to forclose on my home soon. Heartbroken in Iowa
