Fairbanks Captial Corp. Statement for monthly payments sent the 12th of the month of due payment. Statements dated the 12th yet late charges start on the fifteenth of the month.

Charged fees on our statement, called and requested explanation, something we never received.

When we insisted on an explanation, we were informed by registered mail if we did not pay the fees we would face foreclousure. We again called to be told fees included administration fees also fees for the pictures they took of our home.

Needless to say we paid the so called late fees.

On March 12 I called Fairbanks, before I could request to be transfered to the payoff division, the customer rep requested we make a
mortgage payment, than quoted a payment over the amount of my monthly payment.
When I questioned her she informed me late charges, however with my statement in front of I informed her there were no late charges due, showing on the statement or quoted. I was informed my statement was wrong.

I requested a payoff which I am still waiting for, but will never receive so I am leaving it up to the new agent for a new mortgage, anything to get away from Fairbanks.

I have never been able to get an answer from the customer reps about any charges they answer with they do not know.

What is it going to take for the government to stop this corrupt operation?

We also could not get a payoff from Fairbanks. Their attorneys did not return our attorney's calls.

When we refinanced, they payoff took weeks and when asked for an updated payoff they made sure it was after the first expired. I suggest your new loan agent really pester them for a payoff and then get another one a week later, as you can see in our previous report. Also, contact HUD NOW.

I already received a response from them asking for more info they will need. Good Luck and don't let it end with you refinance, get you money back later. READ all these reports to find out how and check for class action suits.
