Fairfax Lending Just another advance fee loan scam Ripoff Rochester New York
I thought I did all the homework. Not stellar credit; needed help getting back on track. Looked at many websites, choose statewideloans.org and filled application.
On Monday, April 14th I received a call from Richard Cary stating he recieved my application from statewide loans, and my loan request has been approved. He informed me that in order to secure the loan I would need to send the first 6 months payment which totalled $911.00. I send this to Angela Gardner, Wicklock, Alberta, Canada. I provided Richard with a reference number, and was told my money would be in my account within 24 hours.
No money, but on Thursday I received another call from a Gary Morgan, from Fairfax Lending, asking for another $911.00. I told him that would be difficult to do, and he said I either send the additional money or I could get a refund on the original $911.00 sent previously. I asked for a refund and he said they refund checks mid-month and I would have to wait for May and the will send this via certified mail, signature required.
I have filed complaints with the BBB, Attorney General, and Federal Trade Commission. I have a police report. I have the loan papers. I am out $911.00

I just got ripped off last night.
I sent mine to a Susan Lansing in Brooks, AB.
I bet these are real people, and there is a way of tracking them down. That's their only fault.
What do you think?
I paid $980, they asked again too. F&&^ that! I doubt we'll get refunds, but if we can track the company down, it's game over.
