on 6-24-2002 me and my girlfriend went to fairfield resort center at 4555 W. Irlo highway Kissimmee, Fl. this presetation was only suppost to take one and onehalf hours. we went in to look at what they had to offer. after checking out the offering we told the salesman that we would have to go back home to misouri to see how we could or if we could financualy fit this in our budget.

well the salesman ISAC (I CANT MAKE OUT HIS LAST NAME)told us not to worry about it we had 30 days to cancel.

After we got back to missouri we looked at our finances and found we could not aford it, so we followed there instructions on there letter to call at 1-800-251-8736 to inform them that we were going to cancel our contract, they told us that we would have to get a certified letter and cend it to them along with there booklet we recieved at the presentation,so we did. on 06-09-2002.we recieved a letter from them on 07-22-2002 telling us that our intentions to cancle our contract was not recieved within the time period provided for by law. (is this true)? is there such law. I thought by using a credit card i was sure to have 30 days.

well five and a half hours latter,YES FIVE AND A HALF HOURS LATTER,AFTER THE SALESMAN ASSURED US THAT WE HAD 30 DAYS TO CANCLE, i gave the salesman isac ? my credit card to use for a parcial down payment of $318.93 when he returned he had made out three different charges one for $679.90 wich is the full amount of the down payment, and another charge of $680.00. telling us that when we got back to missouri and sent the full down payment that these charges would be void.when i contacted a ROBERT WILAMOSKI (QUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE)He offered us a cheeper package but he would not cancle our contract.
