Okay. Fairfield Resorts is the biggest scam-artist company in the world. I cannot believe what a sucker I have been! To think these people were actually legitamite businessmen.

First of all, I have not even finished my down-payment of 1025.00 which we have spanned over 3 months. They asked us to post-date three checks for 275.00 a piece, and then had us make a downpayment for 200.00 to be paid that day. We did so, and they assured us the checks would not be cashed until the last day of the month in which it was dated for, and no earlier.

Well, every check we wrote was cashed atleast 5 days early. The last two checks were cashed, and Fairfield actually went into our bank account and withdrew (unauthorized) 275.00 extra. That's 500.00 that they STOLE from our bank account. I contacted Fairfield the first time this happened and asked them, 'Excuse me, but if I already wrote you a check, why are you going into my account for more money??!!'

I had to speak with 4 different people before I got my money returned to my account. 4 people! And not all of them were very professional. The second time, (today) I called and got an apologetic woman who said she has been dealing with people all morning with the same issue! I wonder how many millionares that they deal with who don't really miss an extra 250.00 out of their account.
I wonder how many other people are being ripped off.

I pay very close attention to our bank account, and now we are overdrawn, 6 checks have bounced this morning, and I am holding Fairfield responsible. As soon as I am reimbursed for all the NSF charges that will be deducted form my account, I am going to send a list of transactions to their co. to have them reimburse me.

After I have all my money back, I want to speak with a lawyer to get all of our 1025 back. We have not enjoyed any free gifts, and have not even planned a vacation. I am very dissatisfied with this company, and if anyone can help me, please reply. I just don't trust them anymore, and I do not want to do future business with them.

Is there any way I am going to be able to get my deposit back??

Thanks for listening...I feel alittle better.

Similar cold shoulder from Wyndham

Add us to the sucker list.

We believed what the Glacier Canyon sales person said (even though it seemed too good to be true) and did not read the fine print.

Now Wyndham is basically saying 'so long sucker ... we have you (and your money) and you have no recourse'. Which is true. We did not get the sales person's lies in writing so now it is he-said/he-said.

But I am still extremely disappointed with Wyndham in general and Glacier Canyon sales in particular.

I may be a sucker, but WYNDHAM SUCKS! Buyer beware, and in my opinion ... buyer stay well clear of all Wyndham properties.

i was just contacted by a representative of fairfield resorts, inc. this woman, who happened to be very cold, and not at all understanding, told me that they will force me to make monthly payments since i signed a contract. if they don't hold up their end of the contract, why should i? she said that she is "very sorry" (yea right) and she thinks they have dont everything to rectify the situation, and that i should be "grateful". grateful for what? that they only screwed me two times? that several checke were bounced because of their "honest mistakes"? someone please help me. i feel so powerless. fairfield is a very large company, and i don't think i can win a legal battle. what can i do??
