Where do I begin. A friend of mine works at Fairfield, setting up the tours themselves. She asked if I would like to go on a tour of Fairfield Resorts, Governor's Green in Williamsburg, VA. Of course she mentioned the fact that there was a free gift of $100 cash upon the end of the tour. To help my friend meet her quota, I hesitently agreed, knowing that there would be pressure to buy and if you don't, rudeness from these so so so friendly sales people would appear. And of course it did.

I was scheduled for 9 am on December 16, 2006 and got there 30 minutes early. Ten minutes til, I walked through the front doors to this establishment to fill out some paperwork. I then was sent to another room with many two-top tables in it to sit through an exciting presentation headed by a guy named Roddy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I did however notice, that I was the only single person in the room, everyone else had a spouse with them.

Next was the tour. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the presidential suite was breath taking. My tour guide, Abraham was so knowledgable and very easy to talk to. After the tour, he said would be going to another table in a different part of the building to discuss the money.

At this time it was 10:51 am, 9 minutes until the two hour mark. I was asked how likely it was that I would sign up today? I told him that as someone in the real estate business, I would never buy the first house I saw. And that he gave me alot to think about because in all honesty, if I had the money to do this, I probably would have. I knew however that I couldn't afford to.

He immediatly seemed irritated by me and that he had wasted his breath to even meet with me. He said he had to get a manager to "exit me out" but first would have to answer a few more questions. He left the table and I waited there alone for 10 minutes. Sitting there, just looking around the room. I noticed a guy in my position checking me out along with the employee that was giving him the same speel I received. The guy then just came over and sat at my table.

I figured he was going to ask for my number so I told him that I had a boyfriend but continued in casual conversation to be nice. Abraham, my guide/salesman came back which made this stranger at my table get up and leave. Abraham said that I had to go to another table at the end of the room before I could go. There at that table was that same stranger that just 5 minutes before approaching me at my table. He's there with a guy named Sean Porter, an employee of Fairfield.

I laughed once I sat down because I found it odd that we would both be "exited out" at the same time. Considering in this room, we were the only ones in this room without a spouse. I noticed Mr. Porter didn't not have my paperwork but had the stranger's. I asked him where it was and said he wasn't sure but that we were being x-qued together. I didn't know what that meant and it took me asking 5 times to find out I was being disqualified with no parting gift after two and a half hours of my time being wasted.

The company said that they saw us, the stranger and I, get out of the same car and that we were trying to pull a double-gift scam. I've always been an honest person and I was truly offended that I was being accused of something that was so untrue. I defended my stand point and asked 3 times for a manager. By the 3rd time, I was crying, cursing and screaming outloud. Abraham stuck up for me because he could see just how upset I was getting. It was obvious to him that I was telling the truth.

I immediately called my friend from my cell phone, who set me up on this tour in the first place to tell her what was happening to me. Her boyfiend, also an employee asked for me to find someone that works there so that he can clear everything up. I gave my phone to Abraham and he then gave it to a sales rep manage named Elo (?). Elo continued to accuse me and told some employees to secretly follow me to my car to make sure that stranger didn't get it with me. They didn't realize that I was standing right behind them listening to their plan. I was going to make sure everyone in that room, probably 30 couples also there for the free gift, knew what was going on. Once Elo realized that I wasn't going to leave quietly, I found 5 crisp 20 dollar bills in my hand.

I then walked out alone and flipped all of the employees the bird and I got into my car ALONE since I'm sure they were watching. Probably not one of my finest moments but I just couldn't believe the way I was treated. For these employee's to work on commission and be "salesman" I'm shocked they don't realize...for just one person to leave with a bad taste in their mouth, that person then tells 100 people about the experience. Getting this on the internet makes me feel so much better. I was a legitimate client and now I'm a legitimate hater of this company and I will tell anyone that will listen about my experience at Fairfield.
