Complaint Review: Fairview Lending Group

We were contacted by phone on October 9th by David Morrison he said they found a lender for my son . He told us it was for 5000. after talking to him it sounded good so he faxed the contract to us. My son and I read the contract and signed and faxed it back.

A few hours later we got a call from him, he said the lender wanted 4 months payments up front of course I questioned it and he explained the lenders insurance company needed it in case we didnt pay they would be insured, so we sent 850.00 Oct 11th by money gram to Jenifer Monroe Brooks Alberta Canada.

We were assured there would be no other fees. Well the next day a Donald Perry called (with fairview lending also boss of other employee) told us the lenders insurance needed an additional 850. we were in deep so we sent that to the same person through money gram on Oct 12th. Well Oct 13th Donald Perry said lender backed out completely but has a lender for 10.000. the catch another 1,000.00.

Well this just wasnt going to happen I requested our money back he said we would get it on the companies next billing cycle Nov 8th. After I got off the phone I called the business bureau in Maryland and an investigator let me know there is no such company and they are currently investigating for me. Unfortunately we are broke and cant even do food shopping.
