Complaint Review: Falcon Fishing Rods

I have purchased all three of these brands and I am apauled .

The FTC should be alerted at once as each of these groups is claiming Made in The USA on the product . They have it on hanging tags and on the fishing rods under the decals that have the company names yet , these and others we have found are using CHINESE BLANKS , CHINESE PARTS and JAPANESE OR KOREAN , TAWAN , VIETNAMESE COMPONENTS .

Made in the USA used to mean something . I am 65 years old and when I was a younger man , I never would have thought that the government could let even our recreations become corrupt and I was certainly wrong .

Names like American rodsmiths and others are also deceptive in there practices leading us all to believe they are built here yet , I have discovered that in fact they are not . Completed fishing rods ranging from 8-12 US dollars are being bought and resold here for ridiculous profits .

The Retailers ? Well they too are guilty of Customs laws by which they do not specify the country of origin as required , Cabelas , Bass Pro Shops , Dicks , Gander Mountain , Academy Stores and others are all GUILTY !!
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU DECIDE TO BUY !!!!
