I saw them get caught red-handed trying to steal:

My brother and I had taken my three-year-old niece there with a temperature of 103.After he had signed the paperwork giving them permission to bill his insurance company, the woman working behind the desk, seeing my brother's concern about his little girl, lied and told my brother that she couldn't find my niece on my brother's insurance plan, but if he would pay for the visit out of pocket my niece could be seen promptly.

Instead my brother called his insurance company on the spot and confirmed that his daughter was indeed on the plan.BUSTED!!!

The woman at the insurance company asked my brother,"What in the world kind of clinic would do something like that?" I don't think I can improve on that. This clinic is in an especially poor socioeconomic area of the town and not everyone in the area is literate. No telling how much revenue they are raking in by purposely stealing from vulnerable people.

It doesn't get any sleazier than that!

Do you know that they did it intentionally to try and rip you off? Perhaps they entered the wrong insurance policy number? or the insurance company had it coded wrong in the computer?

There's a million reasons why she may not have found your niece on the insurance policy. Often when that occurs, you pay for service and when the insurance gets straightened out you get a refund. Before jumping to conclusions, you might verify that she did intentionally try to rip you off.
