Family Respiratory and Medical Supply Worst Company to Work for Baltimore Md & Felton De, Maryland
Family Respiratory is the worst Company I have ever worked for in my entire life. The owner uses foul language against his employees and yells and screams at them with ongoing temper tantrums where he slams furniture and shouts and curses at employees. Some of thier managers have wanted to resign from thier jobs becasue of the way they have been treated, but havent becasue they need the job. There was an IT Manager that worked there briefly and quit because of the owner's use of profanity and the way he was spoken to, by the Owner. The owner and his Regional Director, Sue, are very unprofessional in the way they deal with employees.. using employees against each other to dig up "dirt" to find a reason to fire someone if they dont like them. The owner has spoke about employees in a sexual harrassing manner to other employees and made other inappropriate comments in front of employees.
The Regional Director has made negative comments about the Owner, to other employees, about the owners personal life, regarding his children's problems and his marriage and knows Ththat employees will not tell because they fear losing thier jobs.. I have been asked to sign documents when I started the job, that were lies. for example: Saying I had a fire drill or was involved in training that I was not involved in or trained for.
They do not want employees dating each other and if you do, they have you sign some bogus form saying you will not let your relationship affect your job or they can fire you on the spot, as if your relationship is their business..They encourage people to get direct deposit to make the companies life easier, and then penalize you and charge you $2.00 per paycheck to have direct deposit. This company has a very hostile work environment and the owner and Regional Manager are very sneaky and caniving in thier work practices.
They also make up Policies and Procedures in thier handbook as problems come up with employees, and then fire you and tell you that it was in the Policy and Procedures Manual. (yeah, after they typed it up real quick and stuck it in there.) I have witnessed it myself! They are discriminatory and promise raises they never give you and then make up a poor excuse as to why. I am ashamed to tell anyone I have worked for this company and would never encourage anyone to work for Family Respiratory and Medical Supply. They have no idea that a large percent of thier staff hates working there and only stay there because of the job market being so poor.

I worked for Family Respiratory and Medical Supply for many years, and just came across these postings. I can honestly say that these statements are not true, as Family Respiratory was the best place I ever worked. I believe those who made these comments were disgruntled employees that lost at their unemployment hearings.
It is very unfortunate that rather than find another job, or try to make oneself better, people instead have to spend time bad-mouthing someone who was very generous to the staff, offering better benefits than most small businesses offer, while also taking care of a significant number of indigent patients (those who couldn’t afford their medical equipment received it for free, donated, and services received were at no charge as well).

Since what you wrote is a permenant documentation and seethes of defamatory remarks on both a business level and personal level, I recommend seeking counsel.
Both legal counsel and medical. You are sincerely misunderstanding of what can and cannot be relayed to preserve a business and its others employees.
Contact your State Labor board. Get a lawyer and understand what labor laws are being violated (if any).
I would recommend being careful in your words on business's.
