This has to be the absolute WORST company that I have EVER worked for. I should have seen it from day one. They do not have their act together whatsoever.
I worked in a band new store and the store looked like it was put together by 4 years olds. Things were falling apart within a week of the opening. They treated their employees like garbage.
I was a store manager and they paid almost NO bills, our phones got shut off...they owed money to a window company and just NEVER paid. There was a huge electrical problem in the store that they refused to fix because it was too expensive...thats a lawsuit waiting to happen
We went MONTHS without getting new shipment in, and they said it was because of a dispute with a vendor...probably a dispute because they didn't pay them.
Checks bounced on more than one occasion. They had almost ZERO contact with their employees, extremely RUDE HR department as well as other corp. people.
All of the people in corp. would trash talk everyong else is corp, the owners included.
The day that my store "closed" they called me in the morning and told me that I needed to close and lock my doors RIGHT AWAY and that the store would be closing. They told us that they would only give us severance pay if we stayed the entire day to pack up the store.
The district manager came and watched us to everything while he sat and did nothing.
They also refused to give us our checks the day that they let us go, which in california is ILLEGAL.
When we finally got our final checks, they bounced, what a surprise and when we tried to contact anyone from corp NO ONE would get back to us.
I took them to court to get the money owed and they knew they were wrong, didn't even bother to show up, just sent a check.
So about 2 weeks after the store closed, I was in the area and saw that it was open once again...fishy...
I went in the store looked around...bought something and they were charging the wrong TAX...
This company is nothing more than a JOKE....I hope for their they get their act together or stop trying to run a business like idiots.

Do not work with Famous Labels without getting paid in advance. We were contacted by their corporate offices to do a sign removal for a store that was closing at a shopping mall near us - it NEEDED to be done in a certain time frame (right away).
We coordinated everything and got the job done as specified. This was in March of this year. Now it is 8 months later, we haven't gotten paid, nobody at the corporate office where the work order came from in Las Vegas will return a call, etc.
I know that this complaint does not have a direct relationship with the original one regarding the shipping, but wanted to throw out there that there is probably a pattern of not paying their bills.

I would HARDLY validate this as a Merited Consumer Complaint or Consumer Alert based on the Sources they are coming from.
(A) The 1st is from a Freight Transfer Service whose service is so poor they don't want to list their real name which is H & W Transfer (brokers) due to their poor reputation, so I will for them.
This company took over 3 1/2 weeks from the time I brokered the call JUST to PICK UP the stock. I later found out that they have extreme difficulties finding drivers due to their poor reputation and pay. (my ignorance...live and learn)
After several weeks of LIES, STALLS, RESCHEDULING AND NO-SHOWS I finally had to pay storage from my vendor. When they FINALLY did pick up the merchandise it took another week to deliver it to our store, which delayed a stores opening by an additional 3 1/2 weeks, not to mention lost sales
When the stock FINALLY did arrive not only was it DAMAGED but there were SIGNIFICANT SHORTAGES they refused to account for. I tried to phone them for over 3 weeks at one point and their phones were disconnected.
My concern was so REAL that they may HARM and RIP OFF other consumers that I complained and reported them to Official Government Agencies rather than a glorified chat room where Anonymous consumers can "vent". Hopefully they can be put out of business once and for all.
2ndly...Regarding the Rebuttal...Look at your Source...An "Anonymous" DISGRUNTLED EX-EMPLOYEE who hides behind a Male's name (although we know who SHE is) SHE was TERMINATED FOR THEFT of Sales and Merchandise and is NON RE-HIREABLE. Considering that we Out source our Payroll through ADP, I think as you can see her view is a bit "slanted" based on her Discharge.
Considering the CREDIBILITY of these 2 a Mere Disgruntled Employee and a Financially Destitute Broker that refuses to negotiate for DAMAGES and SHORTAGES, Well, That speaks for Itself. If this is a Pale attempt to Slander Famous Labels I think the thousands of Happy Customers of which there are NO complaints on here, speak VOLUMES.

This business is hardly a business...They do not know how to pay any bills...At numerous stores their phones have been temporarily shut off...The owner says it was a problem with the direct payment...Well, we know better! Our paychecks are never on time or correct. The owners are so unorganized, we fax them papers and then 2 day later they say "Did you fax those papers to us?" How stupid can they be?? One store I know of can't even take out their trash due to the fact they won't pay that bill either. I feel sorry for Matt, but he isn't in the boat by himself...
