This company sells advertising in limited distribution grocery store flyers under the title: "Sports & Soaps" or some other innocuous classification. They then attempt to collect complete annual payment before even the first publication of the flyer.

The company uses a "did you read the contract?" tactic after a salesperson has made numerous verbal promises that are NOT contained in the contract. Then, they employ aggressive collection tactics and "late fees" to rapidly increase the amount they seek to collect. On top of that, the distribution of their materials is severely limited and thus, the advertising is ineffectual at best.

They quickly threaten legal action to collect if payments fall behind their aggressive schedule, and their phone collection people use strong-arm tactics and threats to attempt to collect their fee inflated balances.

Al, you were informed at the time of the sale that first payment would be due before the publication came out. You were given the choice to pay the balance over a 3 month period of time. The only reason you may not have been given a payment arrangement is if your company has bad credit and a history of not paying their bills. Based on your letter and the fact that FFM is being aggressive in collecting your debt, I can only assume that is the case.
